To create a subdomain and install WordPress in cPanel, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your cPanel account. You should have received the login credentials from your web hosting provider.

Step 2: Locate the “Domains” or “Subdomains” section in cPanel. The exact placement may vary depending on the hosting provider’s interface, but it is typically found in the “Domains” category.

Step 3: Click on the “Subdomains” option. This will open the subdomain management page.

Step 4: In the “Create a Subdomain” section, enter the desired subdomain name. For example, if you want to create a subdomain called “blog” for your main domain “example.com,” enter “blog” in the “Subdomain” field.

Step 5: Select the main domain from the drop-down menu with which you want to associate the subdomain. In this case, select “example.com.

Step 6: The “Document Root” field will automatically populate based on the subdomain name you entered. You can modify this if needed, but it’s recommended to leave it as is.

Step 7: Click on the “Create” button to create the subdomain. cPanel will create the subdomain and associate it with the specified document root.

Step 8: Once the subdomain is created, return to the cPanel home page.

Step 9: Look for the “Softaculous Apps Installer” or “WordPress Installer” icon in cPanel. It is usually located under the “Software” or “Web Applications” section. Click on the icon to proceed.

Step 10: On the Softaculous or WordPress installer page, click on the “Install” button to begin the WordPress installation process.

Step 11: Fill in the necessary details, including the “Choose Installation URL” field. Select the subdomain you created from the drop-down menu. For example, choose “blog.example.com.”

Step 12: Configure other settings such as site name, site description, admin username, and password. You can also choose a theme, select plugins, and customize additional options.

Step 13: After reviewing the settings, click on the “Install” button to start the WordPress installation process. Softaculous will automatically install WordPress on your subdomain.

Step 14: Once the installation is complete, you will receive a confirmation message with the login URL and credentials for your WordPress admin dashboard.

Step 15: Visit the login URL provided or access the WordPress admin dashboard by appending “/wp-admin” to your subdomain URL. For example, “blog.example.com/wp-admin.”

Congratulations! You have successfully created a subdomain and installed WordPress using cPanel. You can now customize and manage your WordPress website through the admin dashboard.
